Logically speaking, there is no way this crossover should work. I mentioned it to a friend of mine who is familiar with Magic Kaito and she more or less entered a 'does-not-compute' mode. But the fact that you have made it work- that you have managed to place the characters from Transformers in the Magic Kaito verse, and made the actions of all of them appear in-character- really shows your skill as a writer. I especially like how you managed to work in the Transformers movie along with the presence of actual Transformers, and both the explanations and contradictions it offers for Kaito. I think you write Kaito wonderfully, and every time I read your Kaito I find myself smiling. I very much enjoyed reading this, and hope to see more in this verse.
Only one thing, which did not impact on the story and is more for future reference if you'd care to use it. In Japan, the stalls for computers that you rent in internet cafes/manga cafes are often wide enough to allow sleeping, and are in fact often used for this purpose (cafes offer special nightly rates, and many of them offer cheap showering facilities as well). I am only saying that as when Kaito is pulling his all-nighter binge at the beginning, chances are he'd have taken advantage of that. But like I said, really small, did not detract from the story in any way shape or form, and is mainly there as a 'so you know.'
Thank you for sharing this!
